The Mount of Olives Housing Project will provide homes for 84 Palestinian Christians in Jerusalem.

We'd like to introduce you to two Christian families who are awaiting the completion of the project.

The Hadawar family

Just off the main market road in the Old City, take a few rights, climb the narrow, old stone steps and you will find the Hadawar family - all seven them. Until recently, six adults and little Michael lived in four tiny rooms taking up about 800 square feet. For years, Hannah and Michael, now in their 70s, had three of their grown children living with them, plus a daughter-in-law and their 15-month-old grandson. Read more ...

The Kawas family

The term "cozy little house" takes on a new meaning when you visit the Kawas home in the Old City of Jerusalem. The house has one bedroom, a bathroom, a small kitchen and a courtyard covered with tin which doubles as another room, as long as it's not raining.
